Day 1:  Welcome to Sorrento! 

Your driver will await you at the Naples Airport and escort you to your hotel in Sorrento. After relaxing, you’ll enjoy strolling through this seaside town with its many shops, art galleries, and cafe’s.  A special dinner will cap off a perfect day on the Amalfi Coast.

Day 2:  Explore Ancient Pompeii 

Your driver will pick you up at your hotel and take you to Pompeii. With its intact streets and buildings, many two stories tall, Pompeii is a trip back through time and into the world of people who were not all that different from today’s. Whether enjoying an affluent citizen’s life in spacious, frescoed houses centered around airy courtyards, or struggling along as a working stiff, eating on the go at a “fast food” restaurant and bathing in public baths, Pompeii’s inhabitants lived their lives in the shadow of Mt. Vesuvius, which will be your next stop, for lunch and wine tasting at a wine producing villa. Afterwards, you will be driven to your hotel in nearby Sorrento.

Day 3:  Dive into the Waters of Capri

Your guide will pick you up at your hotel and accompany you to the port of Sorrento, where you will board the ferry to Capri. There, your private boat and captain will be waiting to escort you to a dreamy day in the waters of Capri. Be prepared to dive in the pristine waters of the world-famous grottos that encircle the base of the famed island. Your captain will navigate to secluded coves of aquamarine, turquoise, sapphire, and cobalt, and there’s no need to bring towels, drinks, or snorkeling gear, as your captain will have them on board for you. Upon docking, dry off and meet your guide, who will accompany you in a private vehicle up the narrow road and hairpin curves to Anacapri. On the way, sneak a few peaks at the white-washed villas behind abundant flowers. A stroll at the top of the mountain to visit the famous Capri sandalmakers, a breathtaking view from the enchanting villa San Michele perched on the furthest edge overlooking the bay, and an optional funicular ride to the very top of the island complete your visit to Anacapri. After lunch, your guide will accompany you on a walking tour of the town of Capri and its port.

Day 4:  Transfer to Positano with Visit to Ravello amd Amalfi

Your driver will pick you up at your accommodations and accompany you on an adventure up Mt. Cereto to visit the towns of Ravello and Amalfi. In Ravello, you will visit the famed Villa Rufolo. Wander through the gardens and take advantage of photo opportunities from the terraces perched at one of the highest points of the Amalfi Coast.  You’ll then be escorted to your lunch at a restaurant of Ravello on a terrace that overlooks the sea (not included.) After lunch, your driver will take you to the town of Amalfi. Amalfi is one of the most historic towns along the Amalfi Coast, having had a glorious history as a maritime republic. Enjoy walking up Main Street and visiting the medieval Cathedral of St. Andrew’s. Afterwards, your driver will accompany you to your hotel in Positano for check-in.  

Day 5:  Kayaking in Positano

You will meet your private kayaking expert on the beach of Positano and join him on a 3-hour excursion along one of the most beautiful coasts in the world – the Amalfi Coast.  You’ll enter caves, stop for a swim, jump off a cliff and enjoy snorkeling on an almost private beach!  All necessary gear is provided, and participants must be good swimmers.  Upon returning to Positano you’ll receive photos of your adventure.

Hike along the Path of the Gods

Your driver will meet you at your accommodations and take you to the town of Bomerano where you will meet your guide. As you begin the 7-kilometer adventure, your guide will show you how native plants are used as medication and food and will recount popular local legends as you hike the cliffs and ridges. There is a 750 foot downward gradient from the beginning to the end offering unforgettable views of the Amalfi Coast. The hike will end in the town of Nocelle where your driver will be waiting to take you back to your accommodations.    

Day 6:  A day dedicated to shopping in Positano! 

Shopping in Positano offers charming boutiques featuring handmade sandals, vibrant ceramics, luxurious linen clothing, and local artisan goods.  Explore winding streets filled with treasures reflecting the town’s coastal elegance and Italian craftmanship.  

Evening Sunset Cruise:

To conclude this unforgettable Amalfi Coast Adventure, quests will embark on a breathtaking sunset cruise along the coast. As the boat glides through the serene turquoise waters, the dramatic cliffs and charming seaside villages are bathed in the golden glow of the setting sun. The sky transforms into a vivid canvas of fiery oranges, soft pinks, and deep purples, creating a magical ambiance.  Gentle sea breezes and the soothing sound of the waves set the perfect tone for relaxation and reflection. This enchanting cruise offers a truly memorable finale to the journey, capturing the timeless beauty of the Amalfi Coast.   

Day 7:  Departure – Arrivederci !

Your driver will pick you up with plenty of time to make your flight. Italy salutes you with a warm and heartfelt “Arrivederci!” See you again! Now that you’ve traveled with Your Own Italy, you have friends here in Rome.
